This past weekend, we played the most amazing wedding at Barnsley Gardens. The weather was absolutely PERFECT! And what a gorgeous setting!! We got to play the ceremony music with Paul Taylor Smith (seriously, check him out on Spotify,) who is not only a great musician and an incredible singer, but a super fun person! We had the fun-est time playing (and cutting up 🙈) together! Isn't this venue just breathtaking? Days like this make us feel extra blessed!
--Amber Last weekend Julienne and I had the pleasure of playing at North Point Community Church at all 3 of their services! We got to play with just a grand piano and really great vocalists. We love playing with the standard "band" setting (full band of guitars, drums, lots of exciting lights, etc!) but sometimes it's really fun to strip it way down and play in an acoustic setting. We played a song called "Out of Hiding," by Bethel Music. The lyrics are really raw and a bit emotionally intense, so playing it as an acoustic set was so fun. So fun to get to play in a quartet with some other awesome string gals! Here's a shot from one of the songs we weren't playing on. The singers and musicians at North Point are always so great! Also, let's just talk about the food. Oh my, the food. Is there anything more thoughtful than making sure your musicians are well fed? :) Thanks so much for having us, North Point!! --Amber p.s., If you'd like to watch a video of our performances, check it out here on North Point Church's Facebook page! https://www.facebook.com/NorthPointAlpharetta/videos/1125426270843103/
